All About Us
Leanne Douglas, the owner of Lighthouse Embroidery started the company to accomplish two goals. Unhappy working in corporate America, Leanne longed to work doing something about which she was passionate. Second, she felt strongly that she needed to be home with her children. She and Danny, her husband, took the leap soon after Sydney was born in 2000 and haven't looked back yet. Lighthouse Embroidery was born and the momentum just keeps going!
Leanne has her studio in their beautiful home in southern Maryland where she lives with Danny and her three beautiful girls, Samantha, Sydney and Hannah, now 21, 11 and 10. Life at home is busy and crazy sometimes but she wouldn't change a thing.
Leanne believes her work to be successful only because of the grace of her Lord and Savior. Whatever measure of success she achieves is for His glory. She and Danny are thankful for his blessings.
