Our spring schedule is almost complete.....  just one more show to go!
Join us at Liquid Jazz at the beautiful Friday's Creek Winery.  This event benefits those who cannot afford medical insurance.  Tickets are $40 and are available at the door.  There will be music, wine tasting and silent auction and shopping!!

All About Us

Leanne Douglas, the owner of Lighthouse Embroidery started the company to accomplish two goals.  Unhappy working in corporate America, Leanne longed to work doing something about which she was passionate. Second, she felt strongly that she needed to be home with her children. She and Danny, her husband, took the leap soon after Sydney was born in 2000 and haven't looked back yet. Lighthouse Embroidery was born and the momentum just keeps going!
Leanne works from their home in southern Maryland where she lives with Danny and her three beautiful girls, Samantha, Sydney and Hannah, now 18, 8 and 6.  Life at home is busy and crazy sometimes but she wouldn't change a thing.

Leanne believes her work to be successful only because of the grace of her Lord and Savior.  Whatever measure of success she achieves is for His glory.  She and Danny are thankful for his blessings.

Lighthouse Embroidery is also sometimes known as MonogramMoms!  We have teamed up with another mom of 4 with a passion for preppy!  The great new gift items are a result of collaboration with Cynthia McGivern, the other 1/2 of MonogramMoms.  Cynthia's sense of "preppy and cool" and her great ideas have been invaluable!
